Going to be a rainy day today starting in mid morning. Temp will be in mid 50’s which will be warmer than originally thought would be. Will clear on Thurs. morning.
Healing service went very good last night. Had about 70 people there. Lasted a little longer than usual.
Not going to do much today. Go to the gym, do some food shopping and then come home and have some coffee. I hope I can stand the pace.
Hope you all have a good day and you have a safe trip home Rita.
I’m afraid the camel’s going to get his hump wet today, temps low 50s.
Watched a Bela Lugosi movie the other night, “Invisible Ghost” (1941) The town’s leading citizen becomes a homicidal maniac after his wife deserts him. (IMDb) a fun watch. I’ll have to see if I can find “Dracula”. (bla-bla)
Rita, to answer your question yesterday, Buddy was as good as gold. He didn’t fuss even when he had his temperature taken. They took him in the back to get a urine sample (using a needle) and he didn’t seem to mind even that. The vet tech sprayed some of the pheromone stuff into his carrier and he was calm and relaxed all the way home, even with stops at a couple of stores. The only time he got upset was on the last leg home. I had the radio on and when one song came on, he freaked out. I tried talking to him to calm him down and petting him through the carrier sides and he just kept on scrambling and clawing to get out. So I turned off the radio in order to be able to concentrate better and he immediately calmed down and stayed that way for the rest of the trip home. I guess he really didn’t like something about that song.
Yesterday I finally got our mail. It had been sent to Minneola and they got it Monday. Michael and I had a nice drive up to get it and had lunch at a Waffle House. There are more Waffle Houses than Cracker Barrels in this part of the country. It almost seemed like there was one at every off-ramp. So we just had to try one. Turned out to be pretty good food with very reasonable prices.
Michael is feeling much better, if still a bit spacey and tired. And I don’t seem to be coming down with anything so perhaps I dodged it. I hope so.
Goodbye’s are really hard, but, I am so ready to hit the road. Unfortunately, Jack caught a cold from one of the kids, so we have to stop and get some DayQwill. We’ll only try to make it to south Las Vegas today. Slow and easy.
Thank y’all for your good wishes. We need all the help we can get getting away from these crazy CA drivers.

Good SoCal morning, Vagabonds,
Goodbye’s are really hard, but, I am so ready to hit the road. Unfortunately, Jack caught a cold from one of the kids, so we have to stop and get some DayQwill. We’ll only try to make it to south Las Vegas today. Slow and easy.
Thank y’all for your good wishes. We need all the help we can get getting away from these crazy CA drivers.
xoxo. Happy Trails.
