I have sinuses the size of Carlsbad Caverns – when I snore, they use the Richter scale to measure it. I’ve been know to suck the curtains off the window. Nothing, short of surgery (or death), is going to stop my snoring. Since I do not have sleep apnia, and the pallet tissue sits right under the brain. I do no wish to risk infection that might occur with surgery.
. . . my father died in his sleep, when I was a child. I remember my mother telling me, that he was a loud snorer. Many years later, when my doctor mentioned my snoring problem to me, I asked him about my father. He told me, if they had known then in the 60’s about sleep apnea, he might have lived longer. Taking no chances, I listened to him, completed a sleep study, and sleeping much better. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/sleep-apnea/symptoms-causes/syc-20377631
Went to a church’s men’s retreat with my father-in-law many years ago. He and a friend of mine who snored decided to sleep in a different cabin rather than in the lodge where most of the men were staying. I, who am a very light sleeper, decided to sleep in my pickup bed to try to get some sleep. In the middle of the night, I was awakened by the sound of snoring coming from the cabin of my father-in-law and my friend, which was about 50 yards away. In the morning I asked them how they slept and they both said: “like a log”. I miss him since he’s gone, and he could snore louder than anyone I ever knew.

They’re called “Breathe-Right”, not “Sleep-Right.”
You wanna sleep right, get on CPAP.

Take those strips off and just get her ear-plugs – you’ll both sleep at night that way!
