well, they seem to have enough minds working on this to avoid a “divide and conquer” situation. And if the family is attacked having one of the “active” sets of characters (though the parents are definitely not out of the game) guarding the siblings, spouses, and children who can’t defend themselves does make sense. And she gave Harry the only possible reason to step away before things actually go down that would have a chance of working.

Wait, she fell for that? Nah, Harry’s too . . . stubborn . . . shall we say, to stay home and “guard the family”. Besides, her “assistant” is the only wizard other than Gran. I imagine Harry thinks that Gran is more than enough protection for the rest of the family. Of course, I don’t expect to see Izzy sitting this one out, either.

Smart, Captain! I suspect things will change, though, since Harry is the one Alexa mentioned.

Harry is not known for “staying home” so that’s not actually going to happen.

Or maybe she has to be “out” to save the day when things go wrong.

Oh, Harry’s getting involved anyway, you know she will.

Wait, I’m still parsing through “We’re far out of the city enough for it to be safe to do so, I think”…

Somehow, I don’t see the matter being settled just like that.
