Alice: Help me think of something big to ask Santa for. I can't think of anything that's big enough. Petey: Alice, why are you still hanging around in my room? Alice: Mom says I can't play outside because I was bossy and mean at preschool. And I got bored in my room. Now help me think of something really big to ask for. I'm stumped. Petey: A lump of coal the size of a bus.

That may be what she gets no matter what she asks for.

Alice is definitely going through an unpleasant phase. Maybe a little coal will snap her back to her old self. On the other hand, if it were Lio, I’d say coal would be a dangerous gift.

I love how Alice gets bored with her punishment so she just walks out of her room. Petey - Best answer ever!

I can remember being 4 or 5 and Santa asking if I’d been a good girl. I answered “most of the time” and couldn’t understand why everyone in earshot started laughing.
