Ya think?
Never try to be normal in this strip.
Nothing odd here. Everyday I see some nut jobs face in the paper.
anyone who has a cat or dog has seen this a hundred times. Only cuter. WAAAY cuter.
Andy Warhol was right… Someone..somewhere will have to have his 15 minutes of fame..”In”..the newspapers..
Stel Bel has designed a dynamic poster for Clash of the Bassets!! So much detail to enjoy!
http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
Ursula Houndress gets a role, haven’t seen her in ages. Remember when she was called Ursula Undress?
But that is just catty. Juci Bowwow is also stellar in this flick. And of course, Harry Hamburger.
A poster that far exceeded what the movie was able to deliver. Was this Cleo’s big break-through role?
Unless Jason, up top, already knows this guy on friendly terms, it might be time to get a little aggressive in your response.
Snakes! It had to be snakes!
I think my coffee might "accidentally’ spill right into the middle of my newspaper.
This buzz is for you.
All I see are a few bad dogs.

One of my favorite movies! Great Cleomation in it. Like in the “Sinpup”-movies.
Gorgeous Madusa with her exotic hairdo… Pupasus, clearly wisely planning her escape from that not very authentic plot…
Technically, Madusa is her mother. Look up the Greek Mythology.
The human version is close enough:
https://posterwire.com/wp-content/uploads/clash_of_the_titans.jpg
Additionally, Jason should have brought a book. “War and Peace” comes to mind. Thick and heavy.
Hullo, Cleoians … and internet searchers….
Here is one of those films that you wanderers in space might be drawn to…
I mean, the one featured in this colorful, action-packed poster by StelBel,
for the Dec 3rd 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa
What a film this is… swirling with subplots, and the major and minor characters and complex genealogies of mythology.
A tale of heroes and great beauties… fabulous creatures and terrible monsters…. and even some characters that were in between.
I don’t know how the ancients ever remembered whose offspring was whose, and where everyone’s loyalties lay!
It was much the same on the set, or so I’ve heard.
Juci Bowwow was gorgeous indeed…. Harry Hamburger her handsome hero…
But… Ursula Houndress, though getting older, was still in her siren days… playing “Arfrodoggie” , the goddess of beauty herself.
She met Harry Hamburger there…. and had a puppy with him during or right after the filming!
The already venerable Larry Droolivier played, fittingly, the mighty “Zeus.”
Too many other famous canine stars to mention…
except, of course, we must note the young and beautiful Cleo Clifford….
playing… um… “Pupasus”… the flying horse?
Well, in this film she’s a flying horsedog… with golden fur…. and great golden wings.
other times on wires, with power and grace… for a basset hound!
Oh, the life of a starlet!
Buzzz…
Good morning, Ballardeers! Q Date: 265.98522.83 Sunny skies and slightly above average temperatures for almost a week.
That tears it! JASON!
Wow, Stel. Just wow… Do I detect a hint of purplies?
That being said, I’m gonna take a few to see if GIRTH has more than yesterday’s toon in color.
Y’all be patient. There’s not enough of that around lately. (((((HUGS!)))))
Good morning Balladeers, (((((Plods))))) and Miss Susan.
Well, Stel did it again! WOW!!!! This looks like it took quite a bit of work! Thanks for giving us lots to look at (and read). Like Dennis, I enlarge the poster to see more fine details. Hmmm… I wonder what “MBM” could possibly stand for. Fun!
Today’s Cleo contains a top secret subliminal clue to the burning issue of the day:
Q: ᴡʜᴇɴ ᴡɪʟʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʟᴇɢᴇɴᴅᴀʀʏ Sʜᴇʀᴘᴀ ʀᴇʙᴜɪʟᴅ ʜᴀᴘᴘᴇɴ?
A: When Bassets fly.
I never saw this movie, but with Stel’s stellar poster and Susan’s great description, I will have to look for it. Good job, ladies!
Cleo must have been exceptional (her role has no mention in the human poster). Kudos on the artwork and originality again, StelBel!!
Your comment made perfect sense!
No reason not to say it
After all, I say some of the goofiest stuff around.
Assuming Pupasus was Pegasus.

I was just riffing on it this time based on her wings in Stel’s poster and the name of the character…Assuming Pupasus was Pegasus.
