Wanda must have eaten something that didn’t agree with her hand and fingernails.

On a family trip through New Mexico, my parents pointed out a roadrunner to me. About a mile further, we saw a dead coyote.

    Please note the last name.

Around here, in the Texas Hill Country, Road Runners have two advantages. First, very dense cover which is more of a barrier to Coyotes than to Road Runners, second – the most obvious – Road Runners can fly when they choose.

I was going to the Hoover Dam and stopped at ranger station and saw my first real road runner. It was a shock to find they aren’t blue and don’t have a long neck. I don’t know why that should have been a surprise, but it was, LOL!

Speed aside, it must be remembered that Wile E. Coyote is his own worst enemy.

FAKE NEWS!!! If that was true, why would coyotes subscribe to the Acme Catalog? May I add how horrible it is that the Acme Company is screwing the USPS by not paying Higher rates! :)

I always suspected that the Roadrunner was the president of ACME. It would explain a lot.

Believe it or not roadrunners don’t say, “BEEP BEEP.”

Ah, so, now we know that Wile. E. Coyote was a poor malnourished coyote who couldn’t run at full speed.

Well, hey, cats can usually outrun mice, but Speedy Gonzales is too fast. Maybe Wile E. just picked the wrong roadrunner.

Roadrunners can catch and kill rattlesnakes, which is why I like to have them around my house. They will also kill coyote pups — or domestic ones, if they find them.
