A beard can cover a multitude of chin.
It’s the eternal question with a beard – how high on the neck do I shave, i.e. Abe Lincoln or Van Dyke?
This is so much like looking at my elderly husband’s dilemma. Shave the cheeks and the neck; make a jawline with the beard. Problem solved.
