I did, Painter. You? Today is my day off. But my wife is going to have me busy helping her preparing the parsonage for a Sunday School party tomorrow. Yesterday a lady in a former church called and asked me to come up there and do her mother’s funeral. Sweet lady, she passed away yesterday morning. It’s a distance of over 185 miles. I hated to say No, but I can’t see me leaving my own congregation on the Second Sunday in Advent, which is also a Communion Sunday.
dkram….thanks for the tip. During our loooonnnngggg trip to Calif. for Thanksgiving, I didn’t do the full toon tour. B.C. was one of the toons that I didn’t get to read. :((
slim…..your radar map is accurate…..we did get a dusting of snow….perhaps 1/4 inch.
We came home to about 6 inches accumulated, and one of our neighbors plowed our driveway so we could get to the garage. LOVE our neighbors!!!
I have sent yet another message to Smith, asking him if he is okay. I told him I wanted to assure everyone that he was okay.
Lonewolf….. You got mail.
Good morning, everybody.
MontanaLady….. There are neighbors, and then there are those people who live nearby. The first plow your driveway, the others look at you driveway and wonder if you will have a problem when you get back from where ever you went.

Another bell starts chiming. (me)
We are in to another advent time, we lit the first candle in church last sunday. The pastor is working from Luke.
Christmas Eve we’ll have our candel light service ending with all the villege bells ringing. (Albany bells, not Vagabond bells)
Looking forward to the day.
MontanaLady: There was someone asking about you over on B.C.
