That would be “Funny Face”. Cute movie, set in Paris and Hepburn’s character is very bohemian. Love the “Pink” number in the beginning.

Hey, Leaky, how late is the breakfast bar open? Your menu sounds quite tempting. If it’s still available, I;ll have the coffee with it?

DIAL-UP DOWNWERS…. I tried all morning yesterday and could not get on line….. password or user name nor right!! Finally I gave up and moped about it all afdternoon and evening. :-((((((

This morning I I clickd on my outlook-express to find the net adrress of Lonewolf. When the computer dialed, I waited for it to deny me, but I would be able to access my address book. There is a computer room down in the basement here where I live with timed access to use. I was going to ask him to assure everyone that I was okay, and might not get back on until next week. I’m still uncertain whether or not I’ll get to stay on? I made a mistake, thought I had paid a two-month fee last month, but when I went to check, I had done it in October, and owed for this month. Sent them a check for three months worth. in the mail today, but may get cut off again until they get the check and it clears.

I get so POed when I forget things like that, but it seems to be a regular part of my life, now.

I love both Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn movies, so this one is a favorite.

I was going to put out an Astaire/Rogers movie for guessing, but since there’s nine of them, it would be more like “choose a number between 1 and 9”.

How about Doris Day and Howard Keel from 1953 Musical western. (and my all-time favorite movie)

    Hi, Jan,

That was easy! I’ll let the other guys guess. It has to be an all time favorite for me as well. That Howard Keel is sooooooooooooooo good!!!!!!

And, don’t forget the Granny Goose potato chip guy in it too! :))))))

Trivia about the above movie: Doris Day was quite ill during and after the making of this flick. She was having trouble breathing. After visiting a doctor after production wrapped she found that she had been hyper-ventilating for most of a year. It took her a long time to recover her health. (Source: Doris Day’s autobiography)

Never knew his name……just every time we see him in a movie, we remember him as the GG salesman!

didn’t know about Doris Day being ill…..that’s a long time to hyperventilate!!
