LS….. No, I haven’t seen a doctor as of yet. My only option is to go to the ER. The last time I went to the ER, it was 12 hours before I got to see a doctor.
A good samaritan gave me a hamberger and a can of soda.. I didn’t dare leave the lobby because if my naame was called and I wasn’t thjere, I would have had to start all over again. Sooo… ifI ever HAVE to go again, I WILL have food of some kind with me! I got there about noon, on a Friday got called about midnight. Three hours later I was back here with a prescription for anti-biotics!
Last time I got sick, and passed out on the floor with my balcony door wide open to let the cold, and only a pair of sweat pants on, It took a while to move enough to get the pants off and get under the covers. I friend called 911 the next day when I told her what had happened.
The EMTs almost diidn’t take me, because my vitals weren’t very bad. I think the blood smeared on the floor from hitting me elbow on something on the way down is what made them decide to take me to the ER, That was Dec. 24, ‘09. I weighed 153 lb.s when I got home 27 days
later. normal weight 173-175. Itt took months to get back up to 170. with my clothes on.
Writing this has taken about an hour, so many btypos were embarassing. But, now you know why I am reluctant to go to the emergency room.
I want to thank everyone for their concern and good wishes!!
Now….. I am so glad I started the “NAME THIS MOVIE” game!!! I found out we have some hard-core movie buffs out there. I have been thrilled by the way you people took the ball and ran with it. I have not been in a theater since 1972, and not many before that. Maybe a dozen between 1960 and “72. Three of those were the same one. and I wish I had in on video. “Woodstock”
So thanks twice, for kind wishes and for making the movie game an ongoing thing!! :-)))))))))))
I went to the dr yesterday and got loaded up with a steroid shot, some antibiotics and other pills. Had fever last night. Probably won’t go to work today.
david you left out Robert Mitchum and Gene Kelly. And I know the actor that got bleeped, too. Happened to me once when I was writing about his brother Jerry. I think I got it past the censor when I combined the two words of his last name into one.

Good day to all. Everbody still have their heads above the snow?
Slim: I’m not going to say it, but you know what I’m thinking.
davidf: You’ve got the right idea.
As to the “Name that Movie” I’m going to do one this weekend, then hold off till next year. I’ll try to make it a good one.
Talk to you tomorrow.

I edited out one actor’s name because GoComics bleeped it out, and added two others. The film won 2 oscars, by the way.

Good morning, davidf
That movie would be “What a Way to Go”!!!
I think that you can use the other actor’s name by misspelling it…….or adding spaces……as in D ick van Dy ke

ML - You win the prize. I guess it really wasn’t such an “unknown” film after all. I’ll see if I can come up with a better one to stump you experts.
