Good morning (and good Wednesday to all those outside the Eastern time zone) !!!! I’m here! I’m here!

And, I’m delighted and, um…..well, amazed!…that you were all still willing to party 3 days after the real date! Thank you so much, all my friends! I am at a loss for words! This really does MORE than make up for a rather dreary and crappy actual birthday on Sunday!

I had NO internet and NO satellite TV….only telephone and, of course, my loving and faithful companion……..Maxwell Milton Girouard!

Anyway, with the exception of one really exceptional gift (an iPad….my first foray into the Apple world!), and some long telephone conversations with family and friends, the day was mostly spent on the phone with Verizon, AT&T, and directv. It’s good to be back to normal…..or at least, what masquerades as normal these days.

Thank you all for postponing the festivities and I will be trying to thank each and every one of you individually throughout the day.(I do have a post-surg MD appt. later, but will be here before and after….)
