So if I’m doing the calculations correctly, I (emphasis on “I”) will be 152 then: 2018 minus my age will equal my birth year and then add 117 which will then equal the proposed meteor year 2101.
We have been missed several times and there is still threats from known asteroids like Apophis. Imagine if we spent our fortune on defending Earth instead of global spanning species killing war machines instead of spending a pittance on our own survival? On average only 1% of the sky at any one time is under observation. That leaves 99%.
