that’s why we implore you to change your inane opening line about drinking.
It’s overripe.
Your recent addition of a couple of dozen hashtags to every post, making it take forever to scroll the page in search of that one little buried question….
That’s change I could live without.
Or do you mean coins?
Coins are a pain, I know…. so whatever pile of them you have that you don’t want….
It won’t be on Twitter anytime soon, either. Yes , Facebook. Of all the social media out there. But from a Zuckerberg, you may make a large amount of booze…
You see what I’ve been through lately? – I’m late today because nature called in the morning for a change.
As for money: I wouldn’t know where to put those Triganic Pus if paying with a Ningi.
I try to tip with as few coins as possible for the amount (or bills, but the smallest bill here in the European Currency Union is worth 5 Euros), but some small shop owners love the change, some others have boxes where you may get rid of any kind of coins (foreign, too); the money goes to welfare.
The “Sparkasse” (a bank) has machines that count your change and add it to your account there.

What to do with pennies that accumulate? don’t use the coin machines that will keep 8-10%, just keep a small plastic bag of them in the car, and anytime you use the self checkout in a store, drop 50 or so in the slot, even if paying with plastic. Let’s face it, the only way to get the US government to stop wasting time and money making pennies is to make big business want to stop wasting time an money dealing with pennies. After all, who is really in charge of the government around here?
Just to be a curmudgeon: Those are not pennies, they’re cents. The penny is a British coin; despite long-term common misuse, the current lowest-denomination US coin is the cent (I say “current” because there used to be half-cent coins).
Is change good? Not when you’re at the check-out stand. Although, that’s how I got rid of my loose change at the self-checkout, but not when there’s 50 people in line.
If I have some change that will work, I use it. Either exact change or that penny for the 76 cents (so I get back a quarter instead of a lot of change). I don’t pay dollar amounts in change if I can avoid it.

The store here needs one of those machines that sort loose change. (As if the storekeeper has time to count ALL the pennies.)

Tony’s Question isn’t on Twitter (yet) ….
so I had to go all the way to Facebook….
where he asks…..
“Is change good?”
Yes, Tony, some change is good….

We got rid of the penny here in Canada. I don’t miss it.

I always seem to be stuck in line behind guys like Peter. I wish they’d take their change to the bank instead of the cashier.

Pennines need to be gotten rid of. just like prices of .01 or .06. That require them.

Can’t wait to get to Costa Rica where the coins are absolutely worthless. A USA dollar equals about 566 colons.
