This is a really dumb stereotype. I’m a 57 yo woman. I deliberately chose a career path that allowed me – many times REQUIRED me – to wear jeans and tees. After I became disabled, I discovered the joys of thrifts stores. Now I wear 50 cent tees and $3 jeans or capris, and when they wear out, I go look for (non-obscene) tees and jeans/capris to replace them. I reach in and pull a random shirt/pants out of the closet every day.
I recently got called for jury duty, and they explicitly stated NO T-SHIRTS, business casual only. I had to get help at the thrift store, I didn’t know what that meant. Very uncomfortable blouse and full-length, un-tattered jeans did the job. I’m thinking of listing that blouse on eBay now.

You’re too fussy?
You never want to wear the same thing twice?
A guy never worries about such things.

This is a question that may be asked of almost any girl / woman. There is (apparently) no such thing as “enough” clothes! :)

I don’t know, Aunty, that’s just the way it works out. Ask any of us females.

There are little elves that come every night while you are sleeping and steal the exact pieces you’ll need for the next day. Easy peasy explanation.

I feel the same way Aunty. I just stare at the open closet and try to make decisions.

Buy more utilitarian clothing that can be worn more than once.

Do your laundry more than once a month.
