Mueller had to come up with a great deal of evidence to get the judge that Trump appointed to issue a search warrant for the crooked president’s criminal lawyer.
No need to fire Mueller. He seems to be very actively undermining his own investigation(s). Proving the adage that if you give a man enough rope, he will hang himself.
Also, not everything that Cohen ever did for Trump was in his capacity as an attorney. Evidence of those activities is not protected by privilege, even if the evidence is stored in his office.
Isn’t it interesting that the FIRST jump everyone makes here, as Cohen becomes a possible defendant, is “attorney-client privilege.” Who said ANYTHING about any client? Is this reflecting a pervasive but unrecognized acknowledgement by all that his client (i.e., Trump) is guilty of SOMEthing?
Cohen is involved in advising his client on how to deal with Mueller and FBI investigators. The FBI raids Cohen’s home, office and temp hotel headquarters.
The FBI/DoJ can dress it up and call it anything they like, but the public image is akin to banana republic tactics. This is the kind of tactic we expect out of totalitarian regimes.
I agree, Andylit, trump is continuing the republicans goal of turning the USA into a third world type banana republic. Other republicans in law enforcement are trying to stop it.

You do understand, Mr. Gorrell, that crocked lawyers can be searched, right?. Or are you just taking cues from the Rump’s mouth?

Communications that never took place, according to BOTH Trump and Cohen are privileged?
Why do Trump Disciples have to lie about every issue?

Lawyers may NOT become criminal co-conspirators. …

It’s attorney-client privilege, not accomplice-client privilege.
Maybe if Cohen were a better lawyer, he wouldn’t have stupidly paid hush money on Trump’s behalf.

Attorneys like Cohen lose their privilege when they engage in criminal behavior.
They are supposed to uphold the law, not subvert it for billionaires.
