Oh I suppose that there are few honest office holders out there, at the bottom of the tottom pole with no hope of ever getting to a point where they can make a differents.
My Congressman, Howard Coble, who has refused to take any of the pay raises Congress has voted itself in recent years (and which he voted against), refuses to join the Congressional pension or medical insurance plans (which he also voted against), and who consistently behaves like a gentleman to everyone.
Fact Check…Congress voted to nix the automatic pay raise for 2010 in 2009 and in May of 2010 agreed not to have an automatic pay raise in 2011….guess that includes all congressmen and women.
