Being of the elderly persuasion, I frequently go to the mall to walk (in bad weather). But I cannot tell you of the entertainment value of my rests in the courtyard watching people so intent on their phones either bumping into others, missing a step on the escalator, walking smack into a glass window instead of the door, or (best yet) taking a tumble into the fountain. It’s priceless. But the sobering thought follows that they’re probably just as intent on their phones while operating a motor vehicle.
I have a few tidal apps on my phone (we live on the water, and it does go over the road on occasion), so that could be plausible. NOAA has a few apps and there are oodles of maritime apps for all sorts of weather interests. Ya never know…
Is there a person here over 55 (perhaps) who doesn’t understand this? Is there anyone UNDER 55 who doesn’t understand why it is not understood??? Talk about a generation gap!

Actually, they’re all using the Marine Traffic app on their phones watching for other ships to attack. It works better than the crow’s next.
