At least, those times when Phoebe has been on trial, Marigold was on the jury and not a witness.
Isn’t this a conflict of interests? After all, the defendant is good friends with a jury member. Also, what are the charges?

Nine years ago, a unicorn committed a crime so unlovely, she was sentenced to life as a human. Periodically, a trial is reconvened to decide if the sentence should be lifted.
Humans have had bad times with unicorns who would kill hunters easily and constantly.
