I imagine Sluggo’s actions leave Nancy with a silent scream.

When will we get to see other characters like Rollo and Peewee. I hope her aunt looks like she did in the old Tip Top comic books.

Gilchrist did not have a patent on nostalgia. In this strip we have a historic reference to Wite Out with an implicit musical reference to the Monkees.

Sluggo must be practicing his algebra. Is that z-sideway 7?

I don’t think that I have ever seen white out used like that.

Evidently they didn’t like my last comment as it never made it to print. Let’s see if they have guts enough to print this one. This new Nancy stinks. They would have been better off starting the whole series of the old Nancy from the beginning.

I am glad we haven’t seen seen the new Aunt Fritzi, if thats how the cartoonest draws adults I don’t wanna lol

As I’ve said before, I like the new artist a lot (and I liked Gilchrist). I wish the adults and new characters were drawn more in the style of the main cast. I’m sure that’ll develop as she settles in to drawing the strip.

The x-squared on the blackboard obviously means that Nancy and Sluggo are really in an algebra class! LOL

I missed this yesterday – Olivia James is now signing her name “OJ”.

Haha, very helpful, Sluggo.

Careful, O.J. Use of too many oversized props will make this strip look like a camp Batman comic book.

So if Sluggo can do this to Nancy’s sleep sounds, can he do the same for her speech? Does she think he just never listens? Questions….

I am delighted at the consistently high quality of the comics that Olivia Jaimes is producing!!!!! This was cute, funny, and hit the mark on a lot of levels! I look forward to each new comic here, every morning!!!!

Overall, the best balanced of the strips I’ve seen so far. One assumes the oversized bottle of Wite-Out has been borrowed from the artist…

This is actually getting pretty good. Even the people who complain about too many modern technology references can’t fault this one…when’s the last time you saw a bottle of white-out?
