In the 1970’s, I was stationed in Japan but traveled to the Philippines and Korea on a weekly basis. I had about $200 in my wallet at all times in U.S. dollars, Philippine peso, Japanese Yen and Korean Won. “Don’t spend it all in one place.” How could I?
Last time I went to Jamaica, I brought each of my sons a bottle of rum; as it was priced in $J, I left the stickers on so they’d know I spent $375 on the bottle (about $15US………)
I’m surprised Jason didn’t check out the Zimbabwe dollar.
