Interesting … and odd … that the mobile hanging over the bed and nightstand changes with each panel? :-)

In the 1970’s, I was stationed in Japan but traveled to the Philippines and Korea on a weekly basis. I had about $200 in my wallet at all times in U.S. dollars, Philippine peso, Japanese Yen and Korean Won. “Don’t spend it all in one place.” How could I?

I remember this arc. I thought it was totally weird the first time I read it.

Last time I went to Jamaica, I brought each of my sons a bottle of rum; as it was priced in $J, I left the stickers on so they’d know I spent $375 on the bottle (about $15US………)

I’m surprised Jason didn’t check out the Zimbabwe dollar.

People also askHow many US dollars is one hundred trillion Zimbabwe dollars?

Zimbabwe’s central bank allowed its citizens to exchange the country’s almost worthless currency for US dollars. Its 100-trillion-dollar note is worth just 40 U.S. cents.Jun 16, 2015

It’s been that way for a long time.
