Geese can be mean if provoked. I remember once seeing a lovely goose family, the gander and goose walking very closely and their lovely goslings behind them. I walked closer to admire them and the gander came at me and started honking at me. I knew he was saying to leave his family alone. I was only looking at them! I guess these birds better find another birdbath.

Canadian geese used to do that at my old house. My husky loved to sneak up on them. Never caught one though.
