Sedine really is a dream come true. Although given the way Sam’s parents are I guess he can’t acknowledge anyone truly caring for him in every way possible. Could I have jumped the gun in being so judgemental of Sam?
I have noticed a shift in portrayals here: Early on, in Sedine’s portrayal, both of them were idealized Disney Fairy-tale-esque, and Sam’s portrayal was exceedingly frumpy but more realistic.
Then Sedine dropped the rose colored glasses and her portrayal shifted to be much more like Sam’s (but her behavior wasn’t quite as bad as in Sam’s version).
Now, She’s back to ideal, but Sam still needs to transform.
I must say, being new to this comic it is quickly getting my favoritism. I love this arc so much, the art, the characters personality’s, and the beautiful story. heck, maybe I just love the comic so much, anyway I’m looking forward to the comics ahead. :D
Interesting love story. So he was a colossal jerk and a slob, then one day this bright little ray of sunshine came into his life and made everything better, just because she wanted to.

Is this the first comic strip in history to show a toilet being cleaned as part of the mating ritual?

Do we have a panel of them watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show?

Sam did not deserve this kind of treatment from Sedine. Why did she consider him her dream come true?

That’s maybe her main difference over Tomoko, that Sedine never gaves up.

It’s hard to tell if Sedine is smiling because of the movie?
or
Because she has Sam where she wants him.
