“Harry the Horse” was a tough-guy gambler in “Guys and Dolls”. (Sheldon Leonard played him in the movie.) Gary sounds less intimidating. I wonder how long it took Chief Torrence to solve the case?
But if the boys’ going back in history caused the crash, then the boys’ going back in history must always have been what caused the crash. (If there was no crash in the original timeline, then what has Grumpaw been sending Calvin back in history to change, every day for who know how long now?) If this time something happened “different” that changed the timeline, maybe they wound up somehow preventing the crash (but the microfilm records just haven’t changed yet but soon will)?
