    Occam’s Razor: a logical principle, first proposed by medieval Franciscan theologian William of Ockham, stating that the most effectatious solution to a problem is oft times the simplest and most direct one, unburdened by extraneous details that simply muddy the waters.

    Shauna saw that lying to the railmen was not really necessary, since it’s their job to ensure safety anyway, and that making up a story would simply complicate that which need not in reality be all that complicated.
