Sustainable works. My wife and I love plugging our electric cars into our solar panels (no monthly electric bill in more than ten years) and smiling and waving as we drive past the guy changing the prices at the gas stations.

Hey Trump voters — how do you like paying those jacked up prices so Trump’s oil donors can get ever richer (while paying ever lower taxes [or none at all] that YOU have to make up the difference for).

Sad part is that it also hurts a lot of non-Trump voters who also have to pay for the damage and havoc Trump and his worshipper have wrought on those who can least afford it.

Unlike leftists, Trump voters know “sustainable” energy is both unstable and uneconomic. But for carbon fuels, the leftist illusion would collapse like a global warming hockey stick.

Good for you, Winslow. Install a bank of batteries and a geothermal HVAC and hot water system and you’ve got something. And composting toilets and water recovery and….

Nice thoughts, but you are being sued by the Audubon Society for bird deaths and by the Sierra Club for disrupting the habitat of the Desert Tortoise.

Solar energy makes a whole lot of sense but unfortunately, wind energy will never pay for itself. The energy cost of manufacturing, transporting and assembling the wind turbines exceeds the energy supplied by the turbines. And yes folks, a lot of fossil fuels are burned to make these turbines and solar panels not to mention the raw materials ripped from the earth. Nuclear and hydroelectric are still our best bets but it would be great if solar could become more eco-friendly and affordable. Wind turbines need to end, they are neither eco-friendly nor cost effective.
