I loved the Mobius strip at first sight when I read of it as a child in an old book featuring Alexander Botts, salesman for the Earthworm Tractor Company. In one episode, someone messes with a minion by taking a half twist in a long machine drive belt while it was on the machine and telling him to paint the outside of it, taking great care not go get paint on the inside.
A theatre group in my home town put on a production of Dürrenmatt’s “The Physicists” and printed the program (including his manifesto on satire) on Möbius bands. I wish I still had mine. I guess they don’t store well.
