Time to use the paper to better serve the powers behind Jacob. Jacob’s only the clueless frontman to the real power behind Endtown…….and its not the Rats.

This comic really does need a Wikipedia page to keep track of all of these story arcs and characters.

Hand clenched in first panel. I think Velda (if it is Velda) has made the connection to Cooper. But if she confronts Mavis alone—it might be dangerous for Velda. They’re a group of killers, after all.

Yep, i think this is where they tie up the last loose end, the last person who could connect her to Cooper. Expect there to be some poison in that bottle.

I was thinking Velda would bring her suspicion to Jake, and have him connect the dots. But, it’s nice to see that our girl here is capable of riling up hornets nests herself.

I’m thinking Velda is launching an investigation of her own, since Jacob will be lucky if the rats allow him to leave his office after work hours.

Well, still time to decide what side she is on at least.

Nothing to do with today’s strip, but I was wondering if anyone has news about our fellow commentator, Jenner aka Doc Rat. I can’t get up his site and it has been saying server error for a few days now. I also haven’t seen any comments from him. Wondering what is up.

I went looking into the past for Velda. Someone may correct me-but I think her first appearance is here: http://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2013/2/5 . Not named, but she is watching a camera view of the 3 milk trial victims…with a rat beside her. Then she is first mentioned by name here: http://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2013/3/12 . In the next strip: http://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2013/03/13 , Octavius the evil panda states Velda is the “security liaison”. So…she works directly for the rats? With the rats? Does she have a bunch of rats waiting to visit Mavis?

What newspaper is she reading? Just curious…
