So I’m guessing she didn’t look at him running away during the Chix-N-Wings arc, or she simply didn’t connect the dots. Well she’s Ellie, not a detective.

Sedine likely doesn’t know that Sam and Roy – and herself! – know who Ellie is talking about.

Hmmmm… marital communications failure. Sam never told Sedine about the encounter in “Chix ‘n’ Wings” with Sam, Roy and Hubbs being waited on by Ellie? And has Bea forgotten Hubbs’ and Ellie’s face-to-face encounters there, one of which involved a tear/sweat-stained attempt at conveying a phone number? Or Ellie’s face-to-face with the kindly man whose companionship Ow (“Death to Ellie’s Suitors!”) sought after his escape from the bicycle basket? Or her comment to him at that encounter that she liked men who like cats?

And don’t make me have to break out the videotapes….
