This comic makes me in the mind of that long forgotten sitcom created by Mel Brooks called When Things Were Rotten (1975-1976), a satire about a nitwit-ed Robin Hood (played by Dick Gautier) and his band of merry men who only succeeded each week in thwarting the Sheriff of Nottingham and because he and his henchmen were even bigger idiots than them! And that’s what best describes today’s strip. Oh, by the way, you can tell by the time line why that series was short-lived!
