It sounds like Honeymoon is planning some detective work of her own. If she could find out Crystal’s birth date, maybe she could look into birth registrations. Meanwhile, I’m sure we’ll have other events to concern us for the time being.

This should be the end of setting the scene. From here on, we should be into a new “act” of this story.

I can just hear Honeymoon’s gears turning at high speed !  If she could get a little DNA sample that can at least give us U.C.’s ethnic origins and straight on match to her pop if he happens to be in some data base somewhere.

Honeymoon has her detective skills being activated to help her BFF. Very sweet.

I thought we knew who her father was? Who was Ugly Christine with?

Honeymoon also had a perfect opportunity to move Crystals hair and have a look while she slept, if she was related to someone like the mole it might have been apparent ….

I am intrigued by this story line!

Honeymoon thinks just like a Tracy, wishing to solve the mystery of the unknown paterfamilias. I like it. Her desire to discover the identity of Crystal’s father could be linked to the arrival of Sawtooth, and his wet work for Bribery, or left to simmer for a future arc. Speaking of simmering, there’s a choice of coffee or coco at the Tracy home this morning. Can I get a bagel with that, Junior?

Just so I’m sure, is her first name “Crystal” or “Ugly”?

Could this be a brief side story that wraps up in about a week? Just in time for Fathers Day (June 17)?

Honeymoon is a good detectress just like her grandfather. She will find the answer!

Is it possible that the original Matty Square is her father? If so, then she does have a father of sorts – Matty Squared, the A.I. LOL.

Seriously, I don’t think Team Tracy will go this way, but it does fit in with Sawtooth’s contract on Glitch, M-Squared’s “creator”. Also, the Dick Tracy wikia says that the human Matty had a grudge against the original Moon Maid – that could fit in with the new Moon Exhibit that Diet Smith plans for Mysta Chimera to be the host. (Yes, Matty Squared and Mysta Chimera are kind-of copies of Matty Square and Mysta Tracy, respectively!!!)
