My mom had a Boston Terrier that didn’t have a tail.

“Bob’s your uncle!” is an old British slang phrase indicating usually a happy outcome. It stems from a politician (named Bob, strangely enough) who was infamous for employing many of his worthless and feckless relatives.There’s a bit more to the story, but I’m still waking up, so I am done. :>)
