My former work colleagues are having a night out tonight. Well, it started at 5pm. I was told about it when I popped in there sometime in late March or early April but I never got told where it was being held so I’m guessing it was either an oversight or I’m not invited anymore. I have never heard any more about it until today.
Before anybody says, I KNOW that I don’t work there anymore so why would I be invited? But I can’t help taking it a little personally. Especially when they said I could come. My self esteem is not the highest to start with.
It’s been quite a hot day today and I was glad to get home and lie next to the fan so I don’t think I would feel like going out again anyway.
I know I’m being silly and it was more likely to be an oversight that they didn’t tell me where it was being held but I still can’t help feeling a little left out of things.
Actually, just ignore this comment. I’ll get over it.

Flo, ’aven’t you heard, “Well begun is half done!” But with this king of beginning, Andy may well be fully “done” before the match even begins!

Sounds about right! Except me and my boys golf before the big game. Need about the same amount of time.

I guess Andy wants to get so wasted that he can’t see how horribly his team is playing.
