Ouch! But dear Winky will try to be friends again with the same results.

While I do feel sorry for Winky, I know firsthand how it feels to be persecuted by an overly-friendly dachshund hell-bent on licking my epidermis clean off, so I kinda sympathize with the crab, too.

I’m sorry to say this, Winky, but he said no to your request to be friends.

Good luck getting him to get back in his shell.

When I was a kid, I had a pet box turtle named Freddie. Bobo, our black lab, was sniffing around Freddie one day. Freddie must not have liked it because he bit Bobo on the nose. He didn’t cling like the crab, but he got his point across. Bobo quickly lost all interest in Freddie! (And before anybody lectures, yes, I know NOW that it was wrong to keep a box turtle as a pet, but at the time it was what kids did.) Eventually somebody left the garage door open, and Freddie escaped. I hope he lived happily ever after.

My little Winky was just being friendly, little crab. Please forgive him and don’t hurt him again, ya hear? :-)

Aww poor Winky. He is so sweet, despite what Snow thinks of him.

Does this Winky have a goodly supply of spleens?

Anti-social is not the same as shy. Shyness can be overcome with cute puppies or kittens or something equally endearing.

Anti-social is better to stay away – even wonderful Winky can’t overcome someone determined to be alone.

Poor Winky, that miserable hermit, should stay at home!

Caturday passed me by this week, bummer.
