It’s okay, Master Bader, your new cellmate BUBBA is waiting for you. He just bought you for two packs of cigarettes.

In all reality , speaking about victims ,Daphne , what about the Thorp kids ? They disappear and nobody cares about what happened to them .

All that drinking before you chose to get into the car wasn’t an accident, Bub.

Like son, like father. You can see how being around Barry has messed up Del’s thinking.

Bad publicity? Del makes it sound like he was in show business and now people won’t go to see his movies.

I’m weary of the five o’clock shadow fashion, but 5 o’clock mustache is really bad.

hey, Del, as my dad used to say, “there are no good choices nor any bad choices; only the choices we make and the consequences we then must live with.”

P1, And then there’s me who only wanted to have a few drinks.

P2, An accident you caused. Drunk! At least now Double D knows why Barry is the way he is. That apple didn’t fall far from that tree.

Oh, and are the ants running up into his nose or out?

P3, It’s not like they don’t know where you are, Del. Unlike the Thorp kids.

P1 – Is this one of those “country club” prisons? I like the stylish Nehru jackets they get to wear.

P2 – Infesting his lip and chin with ants seems like cruel and unusual punishment.

P3 – A little privacy please? One of his pals is about to have his conjugal visit.

P1: DB doesn’t look like the pud that he was when he got sent away….lettin’ his hair grow, muscled arms, lost weight, etc. Maybe prison is good for him

In panel one he reminds me a little of the “80’s” version of Kim Wilson from the Fabulous Thunderbirds.

Someone I know was killed in a drunk driving crash. The person responsible didn’t think they’d had too many and didn’t feel guilty until the court case, the verdict, and all the rest. People I knew went on and on about how that person was so terrible and what not. The only question I asked was if anyone hadn’t had a few too many but still got in the car at one point or another. The room got real quiet. A few years later there was a shooting at an Amish school. That community was praying for and bringing food to all of the victims’ families within hours including the family of the shooter. They were victims too. If you’re gonna talk the talk, be ready to walk the walk and look at yourself in the mirror.
