Why in USA you are so convinced that sugar is super-exiciting to kids? For sure it helps tooth decay, but little else. Orange juice and citric acid in general CAN dalay sleep, but even there, it is not RedBull !
Around the holidays, we took 2 of the grandkids to lunch. Quoth Nona “What do you want to drink?” Older one (5): “Coke.” Younger one (2): “Me, too!” Nona: “OK.”
Fast forward to halfway through said beverages, and the 5-y-o: “That’s good! I’ve never had one before; Mom won’t let me!”

There is no known scientific link between sugar and hyperactivity. It’s one of those myths that everyone believes.
