Mammoths and mastodons were interesting mammals.

No Speaker of the House, no matter what party, can make any guarantees about unemployment “under their watch.” They don’t control the machinations of government, nor the economy. They control (loosely) one portion of one house of one branch of government. You need a new red herring. That one doesn’t fly.
