More likely Animal Control, or whatever they call it in this city that the strip is in (do we know?). Maybe the cats would be better off adopted (heresy I know). They could stay warm and maybe Woof would learn to trust. Oliver would be easy. Lily would be a great mouser. And as we have seen from the comments, many many would adopt Chesney, attitude and all.
I like things just as they are. Why does that lady care that the cats are in there. She should be more worried about Annie. And if that lady calls the police about cats in an abandoned warehouse, they will probably lock her up.
My Maine Coon, Tabby, had a busy morning running from kitchen window to living room window to front door “barking” at a neighbor’s white calico that like’s to patrol our front yard. After successfully running that cat off, a few minutes later, Tabby was at it again. This time it was an orange tabby on our porch looking in and wagging it’s tail while Tabby was losing his mind. Soon it went out into the yard and stood watching Tabby while Tabby stretched out in the open window behind the screen and guarded the house. What fun. There are at least six neighborhood cats, none feral, that like to visit my yard because they know it drives Tabby up the wall. (He is strictly an inside cat.)
2. A cute kitten post: this is the emergency preparedness drill for cats that all kittens must learn before graduation to cathood. (Those of us who grew up in the 50’s may remember crawling under our desks at school during drills.)

Good morning and happy Sunday/Bunday, Graham Crackers. Here’s hoping your day in peaceful and serene.
I don’t think the police will bother showing up.

The echo should be good for the concert when the Police get there.

1. A cute kitten post: this obviously starving kitten wonders when his needs are going to be met.
