When I was two years old and taking an endless road trip with my parents to visit relatives in South Dakota. They stopped at a diner in Iowa where “How Much Is That Doggie In the Window” was playing on the jukebox. They tell me I began singing along with the record. The teens kept playing it to keep me singing. Thankfully, I have no actual memory of my one and only public recital.

“How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?” As a kid, I sang it all the time … still sounds good to me. Love and Hugs, boys…it’s almost SUMMER!

That’s nothing Rover. I’ve had “Doggie In The Widow” stuck in my head for 55 years!

Rover I got that tune stuck in my head in about 50 years ago. Must have been the same time you heard in the late 60’s

Rover, I really wish you hadn’t said that. Now I’m stuck. I guess I need to think about Small World and see if it cancels out.
