It’s been very hot here… 90-someting today, and tomorrow it’s supposed to hit 100°.
I can’t complain, when I compare it to some other places… it’s only for a few days at a time…. and at least it cools off a LOT at night.
I’ll take a few 100 plus days, if I don’t have to have 75° nights.
Anyhow…. I had a long day Thursday, and missed some of the Friday forums, since I usually post for the next day, before I go to bed…
I just discovered that there were things said about me that I wish I’d been there to answer!
LOL
I do want to say someting, though, about Whiteheron..
I had posted a link to his profile when he went missing nearly a month ago….
Here it is again, for anyone who wants it:

But when he came back, he posted here that he’d be gone right about now….
It was for a medical procedure.
Actually, the post is still on his profile….

Hope it’s going well, Whiteheron….
and hope that settles the mystery for those who noted his “disappearance.”
Years ago, on a sweltering 112 deg. day I was stationed at Fort Hood, TX and on my way home in a Jeep with no top and no A/C even if I had one. My fatigues were suffocating me so I pulled over and took off my pants and shirt to the cheers of passing motorists. As I continued my journey home I was stopped by a policeman who said they had a call someone was driving naked but obviously I had clothes on (boxers and undershirt) so he apologized for the inconvenience and let me continue. He did, however recommend I put my boots back on for safety’s sake which I did. When I got home and explained to my wife why I was in my skivvies she just shrugged, kissed me and said “That’s why I married you”. Rather than repeat the experience I did start taking a change of clothes to the base with me. I guess my wife thought I was just the right kind of weird.

Cory, it’s not cool to wave your MAGA hat on Ballard Street.

His cardboard inserts must’ve been murder to fold up like that.

Cory, ditch the shoes and socks and find your flip-flops.
