Alice: I've got a Christmas sweater to wear to your Winter Concert! Petey: We just had the worst rehearsal of all time! Look at what we have to wear when we play "Jingles, the Merry Elf!" Ha! We just went to our son’s winter concert last night, and one of the kids was wearing that exact hat/ear ensemble! I am not kidding!

Jeff Albertson feels your pain, Petey.
Our kids had their Christmas program last week. Many hats like this, combined with many dances in which they had to link hands and twirl around with each other, combined with no dress rehearsal meant lots of hats flying off inappropriately with kids scrambling to put them back on.

Every holiday season, I’m still happy that I don’t have to participate in a pageant of some sort.
