Side by side doorless purple rooms is an interesting concept. So is the large, furniture and wall decor lacking green room. And I’m glad to see that Firtazzi (or however she’s spelling it today) has a friend to talk hair care and fashion with. Yup…..this one is surely headed for the museum! See ya’ next time!
Again, the social/societal commentary…. to me… is beautifully profound. Nancy and Esther are supposedly having a play date together… but not really, as each has become (as close as currently possible) a cyborg…. their life is really within the machine, and the machine is within them.
They may be in the same household, but they are not together. They may interact, but in reality they interact only with their screen. The microphone interference….. a “happy” happenstance that allows them to further distant themselves from even an occasional real human interaction.
OJ…. I say…. “Wow!” You are damn good.

Addendum: I also find it rather intriguing how very much Aunt Fritzi’s friend looks like Aunt Fritzi. In most circumstances, I would presume this person would be Aunt Fritizi’s sister, they look so much alike. But, if OJ were to allow that to be…. then Nancy would have ANOTHER aunt. This conundrum is entertaining to think about. What if OJ does decide to add ANOTHER Aunt to the comic (Perhaps Aunt Pritzi (the “F” and the “P” looks similar)?). What would happen to the fabric of the Nancy ethos if there were a second Aunt?!?!?!?!? :)
There can be a little balance. Fritzi doesn’t have to be drawn as voluptuous as Gilchrist’s. But Bushmiller made her attractive, and liked drawing her in a bathing suit. But this is just a sexless amateurish stick figure.

Ah, those halcyon days of LAN gaming, though Esther seems to be getting pwned.
Also hello Ms. Esther!

Meet Fritzi’s slightly more stacked friend, whose name can’t be mentioned in polite company.
Clue: It rhymes with “Fritzi”. ;D

Which one is Fritzie? They look the same except for the “girls” that they both seem to lack.

Asimov predicted something similar in one of his novels – 60 years ago!
