With my dog it’s more of an “I’m going to poop somewhere, I’ll leave it up to you whether that’s inside the house or outside” stare, and it’s a stare one ignores at one’s own peril
Our Lab would breathe… in your face…. with heavy sighs to wake you up. That was when he was younger. Now that he is a senior, he whines. It wakes me up and my husband sleeps through it.
My hubby can sleep through all sorts of dog and cat sounds, though he does wake up at the sound of cat urps ever since the cat urped on the bed. (his side)
We feed our dog everyday at 4:00. Let him out before we go to bed, give him his big cookie and we all sleep through the night!! The cat however, is yowling about 5:30 am. She is such a pill. :-D

Cats don’t have the patience for that. They just jump up and sit on you.

My Sheltie used to pitch his empty food bowl down the basement steps to the rec room. The noise always got his bowl refilled.

Hey—we all need sustenance. Might as well make the process easy for everyone, right? (Functionally, at least … not necessarily with time.)
How ’bout those eyes in panel 3, too?
Happy Sunday, Crew.
