I miss Pogo. I have a couple of Pogo books and read them periodically, but it would be so nice if the old strips could be resuscitated here on GoComics.
Pogo was among the best. I have many of the books. Pogo and Walt led me to Bloom County and Doonesbury, among others. Hard to believe it’s been over 40 years.
BR549. Every time Pogo comes up someone wants " Deck the Halls" and knows all the words. As do my sister and I. A great tribute to Walt Kelly and Pogo!

If that had been the orange hair man, his most intelligent sentence would be the last sentence in Pogo.

Walt Kelly – another very interesting cartoonist.

“Friday the 13th fell on a Thursday this month.”, and, “We have met the enemy, and he is us.”, are two of my favorite sayings from Pogo.

Are you going to sing “Deck Us All With Boston Charlie” with Pogo and the gang?

As a child, I remember trying to read and understand that comic stip in the Sunday paper. Must’ve been humor for adults.
