Not long ago there was a series wherein Agnes was having her eyes examined, and had she ALREADY been wearing glasses that would have been a good time to mention it.
However, last summer (I believe) there was another series wherein Agnes was explicitly wearing sunglasses, and the only difference was that the circles of her eyes were filled in with black (no ear pieces, such as those at Trout’s and Granny’s temples, were apparent).
Given the conflicting precedents, I nonetheless am of the opinion that Agnes does not wear glasses as a rule; despite their saucer-like size, I assume her eyes are merely blunked out in the standard comic-strip-Orphan-Gal tradition.
(That’s three sentences, but I wouldn’t really consider what I’ve written a novel; it’s more of a scholarly monograph.)

I’ve always wondered, are Anes’ and Trout’s eyes supposed to be huge or are they wearing ‘coke-bottle’ glasses?
