Now that’s idiotic, Junior! Why pay someone else to pour tap water into bottles?

I’ve lived in, and visited, places where the tap water is not drinkable. Thankfully, that is not now the case. A visit’s still possible.

Junior is beyond thirsty; he’s becoming a snob.

I don’t touch the stuff. They tell you not to refill those bottles because the chemicals can leach into the water after a while. I figure it’s just as likely to leach in before then. As NACH said, why pay somebody to pour tap water into a bottle?

Is Junior old enough to get his own preferred water and not bother his mother while she’s busy?

2.5 MILLION plastic water bottles tossed in the trash in America EVERY HOUR! Absolutely ridiculous when the water in the tap is safe to drink (Flint excepted of course).

yes Betty, that will teach him, that will show him how witty you are; but be aware that when he answers the same way he is just following your example

I use a re-usable bottle filled from the tap.

Very often bottled water is just somebody else’s tap water.

Would he be willing to give up some of his gaming time to complete chores and earn a case? No, I didn’t think so.

The tap water that I run through my own filters and put into reusable containers is preferable to the tap water that comes in bottles.

Nothing like a bottle of “Glacial Rip-off”! Bottled right at the source! (A municipal tap in New Jersey)

I always drink bottled water. Every time I buy a bottle of Gatorade (once every couple of years) I save the bottle and fill it with tap water. I always have about half a dozen bottles of tap water chilling in the fridge.
