I plan to learn this as soon as someone explains to me why a folded sheet is better than a bunched together and jammed inside the matching pillow case sheet.
I can fold a fitted sheet, but I choose not to. Take the sheets off the bed, wash them, put them back on the bed. When those wear out, buy a new set. Life’s too short to fold sheets.
My mom was pretty good at folding them. I remember the first one she got for my bed when I was about 14 (back in about 1959). I had just learned about “Spoonerisms”. Unfortunately I Spoonerized fitted sheet once when she was helping me change my bed linens! Boy, was I embarrassed; Mom didn’t miss a beat.
