Ooooh! A fight, a fight, a fight! I hope Sawtooth gets away so he can come back to fight another day!

At least they will have one for the paddy wagon but wait, will Toothy step out of the house into a hail of gunfire ?  Sam and company should have been nearby ready to strike when Dick’s Wizard signal went out.

Well, they gave Tess her daily bread, but Tracy won’t forgive these bad guys who trespassed against him.

I see Tess is wearing a DT watch herself.

I do not think this is it, as Grimm’s gambling and losing all of Sawtooth’s money has yet to be addressed.

She should have pulled the trigger when she saw what they were about to do.

Tess is tough, she will roll with it and come out of it smelling like a flour!

Although we didn’t see it, Sawtooth probably made a quick exit. Grimm, however, looks as caught as a fish on a line.

The apprehension of Grimm makes the entire gambling subplot irrelevant except that (if he got away) Sawtooth won’t have the money for a train ticket home.

TESS: “Don’t move gentlemen, youre looking at the woman who singlehandedly killed Mr Crime!”

SAWTOOTH: “Mr. Crime!?!? D’OH!”

Grimm must be a quick draw… he and sawtooth chucked the box of bread at TEss and right quick after that tracy attacks, but grimm has his gun ready. He woulda made a great sherriff in the wild wild west

Looks like Dicko needs to go to culinary school If the bread is that hard within an hour. I remember being assaulted by a piece of toast once, did require stitches. To the ovens varlets!

What a dumb arse! Thank God this is a comic.

When they haul Sawtooth to jail, they should make him carry the box of loaves, just so they could say “Bread Man Walking”!!! ;)

Sawtooth heaves the bin o’ bread; stuns Tess before she can fire. At the same moment, Grimm draws his piece (didn’t even know he was packing, though it makes sense); before he can get the drop on anyone Tracy grapples with him for control of the gun. There we stand (or fall), today.

Projected possible outcomes:

Grimm fires. Tracy is wounded (happens almost every story!). Tess recovers, but Grimm and Sawtooth flee before MCU reinforcements arrive.

Tracy controls the gun, plugs Grimm. Sawtooth decides discretion is the better part of valor and flees (not yet realizing he is virtually penniless thanks to Grimm’s gambling). MCU reinforcements arrive too late to be of help except by way of commiseration.

Tracy overwhelms Grimm. Sawtooth slips on a sourdough loaf and falls to the ground; Tess covers him and cuffs him. MCU reinforcements arrive in time to haul the two assailants to jail, where Sawtooth finds he has no cash to hire a mouthpiece-lawyer and rips out Grimm’s throat. The murder charge sticks and he is put away for life.

Grimm and Sawtooth overcome Tracy and run off with Tess as a hostage. MCU reinforcements show up in time to cart off Tracy to the Emergency Room for patching up.
