well, that was fun
“Lycanthropy” – had to look that up (sigh)
At least this sort of confirms that Ernesto is real and not imaginary.
I’d forget all the political correctness and just say I hate beans.
I kinda want to see Ernesto turn into a werewolf after eating beans.
This strip is very funny if you Google lacuna. :)
Too bad Ernesto is real; being part of Petey’s neuroses is much funnier! Two sweaters in the summertime?
I must admit, I kind of like Ernesto. And I’m glad he’s real.
Lycanthropy? That’s the weirdest answer to ‘no thanks’ for five bean salad and hot dogs.
lol… “Lacuna: an unfilled space or interval; a gap”
What would a MILD case of lycanthropy look like?
Folks, NONE of this proves Ernesto is real! He could be a shared delusion. OTOH, Mrs. Otterloop does seem fairly grounded, if clueless about her children.
LYCANTHROPY
Some elements of a werewolf in human form:
• He has to eat raw red meat in human form to keep from changing. Very fresh meat at that, still warm in fact.
• Has a widow’s peak.
• Slightly pointed ears.
• Physically strong.
• Sexually attractive to humans.(As adults.)
• The index finger is longer than the others. Fingernails are sharp.
• Far tougher and have extreme longevity through the power of bodily regeneration.
I don’t see the problem. If Ernesto suffers from lycantropy, he could wolf down his dinner and be on his way.
Huhn….gotta say, a slight touch of lycanthropy would be an improvement over what 5-bean salad does to me, (erp!)
This is such a WONDERFUL family!
Alice! Stop dragging your towel, or you’ll have to sit with Ernesto at dinner, if I can get him to come over! “Mild” or not….
I am not convinced Ernesto is real just because Madeline seems to think she can see him. I’m sticking with hyper-neurotic Petey, my hero.
