I once had a golden retriever-ish dog. In the morning people would come to the house and I’d say, “How do you like our hardwood floors?” in the afternoon I’d say, “How do you like our deep-piled, orange shag carpet?”
I fed the dog and I picked up his poop in our yard. I know what went in and what came out. It did not account for all that production of fur. I concluded that the dog was capable of photosynthesis.
