You could always ask dad to change the oil for you. That way, he couldn’t complain that you got the wrong kind of oil.

Hey, those are all legit concerns! Maybe put envelopes last on the list – no, wait, the paper-cut potential weights them more than that. . .

All are very valid, but the last one in panel four should be at the top of the list! Its a scary thing us men hear that the women closest to us is going to CUT their wonderful locks of goodness off.

Regular oil changes are a very important thing, until your car gets so old that there is a possibility that changing the oil might cause more leaks to open up – don’t laugh, I had my first minivan for over 20 years, and the last 5 the mechanic who looked after me (he really did, HI JOE!) wouldn’t change the oil anymore until I was prepared for a $2000 repair bill.

And smoke coming from ANYTHING IS DANGEROUS – says the non-smoking electronics tech. I’ve had to deal with electronics that had smoke coming from them, and how my brother managed that repeatedly, I’ll never know.

You know, except for the envelop-opening thing, I’d say your dad is a very sensible person.
